Young People’s Workshop: Film, Art, Action - Saturday 10 October

Aged 13-18? Come and explore art in film by delving into the moving image archives at The Box – the 2026 Art Fund Museum of the Year.

Go behind the scenes in this special workshop and discover original film materials, archive footage and more – all of which show how filmmakers have experimented over time.

Using The Way We Live, a 1946 film by one of Britain's earliest female documentary makers, Jill Craigie, as inspiration, you’ll design protest banners and then use them to create a bit of your own history on The Box’s pop-up green screen.
