The Way We Live Curator's Tour - Saturday 24 October

As part of our October 'Super Saturday', join curator Beth Hughes for a special tour of The Way We Live. 

Hughes has brought a range of leading contemporary artists to this major new exhibition which explores home, housing and community from different perspectives. Join her to discover more about them and some of the key artworks that are on display, from sculpture, installation and painting to photography, film and archival material. 

About Beth Hughes
Beth Hughes is an independent curator and researcher who has been working with publicly-funded contemporary art collections for over 15 years. She is currently Curator and Creative Producer for Lubaina Himid Projects, and recent freelance projects include those with MIMA, Middlesbrough and Salisbury Cathedral. She was Curator at Arts Council Collection for eight years where she curated a number of exhibitions including Found Cities, Lost Objects: Women in the City, Criminal Ornamentation: Yinka Shonibare MBE curates the Arts Council Collection and the Grayson Perry tapestry series, The Vanity of Small Differences which was displayed at The Box in 2025 as part of our Remember Respond Resist exhibition.
