Journeys with Mai Tasting Event - Saturday 13 June

5.45-10pm

Join us for an exclusive evening that includes an opportunity to view our major Journeys with Mai exhibition, bid Mai farewell before he heads across the sea to America, and then tantalise your tastebuds with a unique menu inspired by his travels. 

Over five delicious courses let us take you on a journey, following in his footsteps as the first Polynesian to visit Britain in the late 1770s. Each dish on the menu has been meticulously researched by our chef and descriptions will accompany each one.

Our menu includes:
● Torched pineapple, scallop with a lime and chilli dressing
● Tomato and strawberry tartare, focaccia crumb and basil oil
● Roasted gurnard with lemongrass beurre blanc
● Pickled pear with either blue cheese creme or miso tofu, toasted pumpkin seeds and herb oil

All tickets include access to the Journeys with Mai exhibition from 5.45-7.15pm. Dinner service will begin promptly at 7.30pm. Please note, all dishes will be served to tables at the same time and tickets are non-refundable.
