Construction of Royal Parade in 1947

This print shows the laying out of Royal Parade, with Derry's Cross roundabout (premises still in the centre), in the foreground, temporary Nissen hut shops, on the right, the remains of Westwell Street and gardens, and the towers of St Andrew's Church and the Guildhall, in the background.

The image is a black and white photograph, looking towards Cattedown, of the reconstruction of Royal Parade in 1947.
