Inspired by our 'Making a Mark: Dazzling Drawings from the Cottonian Collection' exhibition (until 4 Jun), join local artist and experienced life-drawing tutor Kathy Wray for a drawing session.
Our April sessions will be all about discovery, exploring colour and mark-making from the figure in movement and space; a chance to take a fun and experimental approach to creating visual imagery. The session will incorporate music and a discussion about the meanings, contrasts and expressive qualities of mark making and the figure, and you'll have the chance to develop these skills into a longer pose of up to an hour to incorporate technical drawing skills alongside proportion, tone and scale.
All materials provided and refreshments. Please bring in any specific materials, sketch-books or colours you wish to use or to even share with others.
This is a 16+ event.
