A lovely everyday unique necklace made form eco-friendly silver with a gorgeous shell found on the Cornish coastline.
Local Cornish jewellery designer and maker Sarah Drew uses recycled materials in a sustainable way to create unique pieces that aren’t a strain on new resources and whose material components are traceable.
Her contemporary, eclectic jewellery range is made from found objects (driftwood, sea plastic, sea glass and slate pebbles) combined with semi-precious stones and pearls, linked together with chunky hammered eco-silver chains, delicate crocheted fine silver and fused silver focal pieces.
Sarah uses eco-silver in her designs; an environmentally friendly alternative to sterling silver. It has the same silver content as sterling, it's just made of 100% recycled and scrap silver products, such as scrap jewellery, medical equipment, electronics and giftware.
